A facility for tagging messages should be added.

This would require the following.

• Command to add tags.

• Command to get tags.

• Method of getting messages matching tags or multiple tags (OR/AND).

  • Within a folder? Mail store?

• Folders will no longer be necessary with tags, and could be confusing, so the folders may need to go. That will mean a significant refactoring of the protocol, as some of the commands will need to be removed, and others revised. It's almost time to create more issues for this.

• Will flags be necessary with user-setable tags?

  • Should BikINI define a few default tags?
